G.Skill RAM for a Gaming Comp

Do you have a 64bit OS? If not, 6GB of RAM is pretty useless for you ;)

If you do have a 64bit OS it's your call, RAM is relatively cheap now and if you plan to hold on to the same system for a few years 6GB may not be a bad thing.

Here's my motherboard, and here's my OS, Vista 64, gonna use the free coupon and get Windows 7 when it comes out.
In that case I'll say the same thing I said before :)

That is DDR3 tri-channel which only X58 motherboards use. You need DDR3 dual channel which your motherboard supports. Although you can use that RAM it will be running at single channel making your system slower then it would if it was running at dual channel. You can have 2X2GB of dual channel DDR3 along with 2x1GB of dual channel DDR3 to make 6GB's. That way all of your RAM will be running at dual channel and not single channel.

2nd link is broken.
If you mean between ram from OP and the ripjaws, a few things.

Lower Voltage
Higher quality memory chips
Better cooling
