I'm thinking of buying this RAM for a gaming computer. I'm wondering if I should stick with the 4gb and if it was necessary to get 6gb?
In that case I'll say the same thing I said beforeHere's my motherboard, and here's my OS, Vista 64, gonna use the free coupon and get Windows 7 when it comes out.
If you do have a 64bit OS it's your call, RAM is relatively cheap now and if you plan to hold on to the same system for a few years 6GB may not be a bad thing.
I think they were referring to a 6gb kit, as 3x2gb= triple channel.G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ - Retail
