Hey here's the build,

He's paying for it so it's not going to be as obscene as my build that I am also working on currently and is designed to be rather portable so he can take it to LAN's and what not, hence the Micro ATX platform.

How well do you think this will be able to handle current full HD 3D gaming? I'm have a bit of experience with computers and know a lot about different components but have little practical experience when it comes to budget(ish) build as I usually sink around 2 grand into a given rig.

Thats an energy saving processor. Not saying to get one, but a 1090T costs less.

The mothrboard is pretty old tech.

The RAM is ok.

The HDD is a bit pricey, good drive-but your paying for warranty.

40GB SSD is a bit smaller than norm and overpriced @ $100. Could be done w/40GB, but would need to manage all programs (as well as storage) accordingly. ie - mapping some system folders that could otherwise be ok on a larger SSD. A SATA II 60-64GB can be in the $100 range.

Equal or better quality power supply can be had for quite a bit less.

How much $ you working with?

Around a 900 bucks. He doesnt have all of it yet but still wants to get a rig up and running using my old video card and RAM. I also have a friend with listed mb who is giving it to me for basically free which is why its in the build. As of now he's got almost 600$ which I figure is plenty to get a working pc up and running with room to add on in the near future, ie replace my old gpu and add an ssd.

How well would this build run on the listed motherboard? As I am getting it for helping my friend move.

Or is it worth it to chump another 100$?

I guess I could also use the motherboard for now and then swap it out when I switch over to bulldozer. tjat way i can use the money my brother has now to get an ssd and monitor
