Hey here's the build,
He's paying for it so it's not going to be as obscene as my build that I am also working on currently and is designed to be rather portable so he can take it to LAN's and what not, hence the Micro ATX platform.
CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 910e 2.6GHz Quad Core (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103907)
Motherboard: Asus AMD 760G HDMI Micro ATX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...s_amd_motherboard_ddr3-_-13-131-672-_-Product)
RAM: Corsair XMS 4GB DDR3 1600MHz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...39&cm_re=ddr3_1600_4gb-_-20-145-339-_-Product)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130634)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200rpm (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533)
SDD: Corsair Force (40GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233177)
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171036)
Case: Cooler Master Haf 922 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197)
How well do you think this will be able to handle current full HD 3D gaming? I'm have a bit of experience with computers and know a lot about different components but have little practical experience when it comes to budget(ish) build as I usually sink around 2 grand into a given rig.
