There is indeed a very easy way to get peoples IP from MSN, although I wont post it here since the general consensus on here seems to be against it. Pluss I agree, he doesnt seem to have, and im not sure there ever is, a good reason to deceptively obtian peoples IP's. All communications through Messenger are directed through MSN's servers, which "hide" the source of the communication.
