Why not get the 64bit windows 7?

I've seen windows 7, and It looks about the same as vista. I might check into it later after it becomes the next widely used software, but for now, vista seems ok. As for 64bit, I'm going with 32bid because I've heard that 64bit isn't compatible with the majority of softwares, and all I need is 4gb of ram anyways.

Ok I've never had a compatibility issue with 64bit vista, or 7.
I've been running both old and new software and its always worked.
If you plan on using only 4 gigs it should be fine then.
Did you look at the msi 790fx board?

Yeah, I saw that one. I don't need 4 PCIex16; it would be a waste for me to get it because i would never use them all. Great motherboard though. :)

64-bit Windows Vista runs fine. Windows 7 is so new I don't have any knowledge of it. I would advise you to get 64-bit Windows. When you upgrade to over 4 gigabytes of RAM in the future you will be able to utlilize it with a 64-bit operating system.

If your looking at 7 its been great thus far, I had great luck with vista so I can't really tell oh its so much better this and that.
It is an improvement, but vista is fine as well your computer can handle it no problems so its your choice.
