Can you even overclock a graphics card?

He has an nVidia cardoverclocking your GPU with a program such as ATI Tool

All right, All right, i've only had ATI cards so i never needed to look for an oc'ing app for nVidia cards. But ATI Tool works great with ATI cards. I think i heard that ATI Tool also works on some nVidia cards, but i may be wrong.Cromewell said:such as works when the utility suggested would work![]()
When you overclock, the clock will be increaseand when I overclock it what will it increase?
Yes but there's [now] different types of core clocksalso, overclocking your video card includes two types: core and memory
Maybe MS Word needs to work on their autosummarize feature more?such as works when the utility suggested would work
If you have to ask, odds are you wont notice the differenceso do you suggest I OC it or will it get f***ed up?
I beg to differ, on my old system i could play HL2 at higher settings and at a higher framerate after i overclocked. And i know your not a fan of 3DMark, but my score jumped from ~3700 to ~4200 after.Praetor said:If you have to ask, odds are you wont notice the difference
And guess what? You didnt have to ask me that. Furthermore lets not forget HL2 is a CPU bound game and not a GPU bound one.I beg to differ, on my old system i could play HL2 at higher settings and at a higher framerate after i overclocked.
what kinds?? this interests me... whatttt kinndd??Praetor said:Yes but there's [now] different types of core clocks
