I recently bought a Maxtor 300gb hard drive and I'm going to install it as my backup hard drive..... Do I need to make that hard drive my "slave" drive????
kobaj VIP Member Feb 18, 2006 #2 If you only have one other drive in your pc and the 300 is connected to the same cable as it, than yes, the 300GB should be made the slave.
