Heat monitoring...

I like to find the right place to attach the wire for monitoring my 4870 card!?

Im using the Scyth monitoring system...

I dont think I have it in the right place as the tempature shows 48.9C Idle average, when it should be 77C on idle!

can anyone please tell me where to attach the wire for accurate heat measurements?

Well PC Wizard does it.

The best thing to do is to is get a program. The new PC wizard you can view the temp.

I know there are a few other programs.

Yeah, in the bios it has it as well.

PC Wizard is good, it monitors pretty much ever component. It's Free as well

I have the PC wizard now but it dosnt seem to monitor the card!
Would it have a different name for the graphic card? I wouldnt think so...

The sensor u place will never by the same temperature as the gfx card core. The core will always read higher temperatures. To monitor my temps i use:

Most accurate to the bIOS reading for me.

There is no installation required. Download it to your desktop (or folder of your chosing) unzip it (extract) and then just click .exe.
