Can someone help me find a nice video card thats in the range of my budget price of 65$ its for running World of Warcraft....try helping find something a bit new....and thats compatible with Windows 7. ty
That's still limiting you too much. If you don't want to upgrade your CPU, then you're stuck on socket 478, which limits you to old, slow Pentium 4s. Also, if you don't upgrade your Power Supply, then you can't get a good video card. You're in a rather difficult situation. I'd like to know, though: how many GHz is your Pentium 4? If it's 3.2GHz or 3.4GHz, it may be doable. Then you could get a new socket 478 motherboard with a Pci-e slot, which would make it much cheaper to get a new video card. That's still not future-proofing much, though.ye i just decided im not going to upgrade this pce of crap anymore just looking for a descent motherboard atm that is capable for running well. budget is 150$ for the graphics card and MObo together.
Are you sure those are the parts you want? Personally, I would go with these to pretty much match the price of the ones you listed:

Believe it or not, the 2.6Ghz CPU I listed will be faster than the 2.8GHz one you listed, even though they are both still dual core. Intel's processors almost always have a higher performance/GHz ratio than AMD's processors. If you don't believe me, check www.cpubenchmark.net You won't find the CPU I listed on their site, but you'll find a 2.5GHz version that pretty much matches the performance of the 2.8GHz one you found.
Check the site. The Celeron e3300 beats the Athlon 2 x2 240 by a few points, and it costs $53 vs. $58! The Celeron e3400 is only $2 more than the Athlon 2, but it's probably significantly more powerful.Id actualy recommend not going with that build....i personally think the Athlon 2 will be much better.
