How to fix this network issue for my desktop?

Ok, do this. Click start, and in the search bar, type msconfig and hit enter. Uncheck all entries in the startup tab and click on apply. Reboot and see if issue persists.


I FINALLY FIXED THE ISSUE!!! I'm guessing there was an issue with the Asus networking software that was installed when I installed the wireless card. I guess it had an overall conflict with the network. This program also was the reason why my network password and info wasn't being saved and I had to manually connect to the network each time I restarted.


I simply disabled the program from msconfig services, so now it is no longer an issue. I also would like to thank you very much for your time and effort for helping me out! Really appreciate it!

Yeah, usually the supplied software is not needed and will sometimes cause issues. When installing wireless software, its always best to just install the actual driver and let windows control the wireless.
