how to update bios

hi guys,


ive got an asus 900/linux and i want to update the bios to the latest one that you can download of the web but the trouble is theres no option to flash/update the bios when you go into the bios on the asus 900, if anyone knows can you please help me?
 
thanks alt+f2 works but when i does it, it says usb device found, reading file 900.rom and then it says file 900.rom not found on usb device???????

ive extracted it from the winrar file so its the actual file on my usb stick.
 
What is the actual file name? I vaguely remember that you have to manually rename the BIOS file to 900.rom
 
yes it did thank you the reason why it took ages coz the meory stick didnt work with it so i put it on another meory stick and instead of taking ages to load it worked fine

Excellent! I had the same issue with mine, it had to be manually renamed to 1000.ROM. Not sure why though, but at least it worked.
