The_Other_One VIP Member Feb 18, 2007 #2 Do blank, burnt, or commercial DVDs? I've seen some DVD drives that have actually lost the ability to read DVDs. Perhaps that's the case with yours? Also, just a side note/test...will it burn CDs?

The_Other_One VIP Member Feb 19, 2007 #4 I suspect it's just a bad drive. As I mentioned, this does happen. Actually, my parents have a DVD Player. It will play VCDs, audio disks, and anything EXCEPT DVDs...
