im paranoid bout key loggers, so i installed this.

http://dewasoft.com/privacy/i-hate-keyloggers.htm

its a program that supposed to protect everything u type, but does it really work, or is it some little thing that key loggers bypass easily. Also, i currently have Nod32 installed, am i covered or do i need another piece of software to different types of security threats? (antivirus spyware etc)

Wow are people really that paranoid?

Just surf with Firefox and get stuff like Ad block Plus and don't click on pop-ups or ads and don't open email you don't know. Simple as that.

As far as that program you installed goes, for all we know it could be a keylogger.

EDIT:

There's a thread over on the MalwareBytes forum that discusses it. Looks to be a rogue program.

You brought it on yourself, mate. Don't go around installing "anti-malware" programs that you aren't even sure if they work, follow voyagerfan's advise, and you'll be fine.

You have got to be more careful than that. Don't just trust a site because it looks cool and says its the best, most amazing, an so forth.....

I agree with voyagerfan99, and dude if you were using Firefox with Web-of-Trust add on you would have known that site was bad. The WoT review shows that site as all red (Very bad). See the review page for yourself here:

My fiancee and I also use noScript. It prevents all java scripts from running without you ok'ing them to run. It stops a LOT of garbage from even showing up. It takes a few days to get used to how it works, but its not that hard. My fiancee recently added this to firefox on her computer, and she isn't that web savvy but she figured it out in a day.

Web-of-Trust shows a small colored ring next to your search results. It indicates sites which have been found to be dangerous, malicious, etc... You can also set the add-on to warn you of other types of sites. Its good, it works, and if you had it a few days ago you would have known that "I-Hate-Keyloggers" is a malicious site.

And if you aren't using Firefox, then start so now. You can import your bookmarks from any almost any other browser in just a few clicks.
