So you went from wanting a $2k gaming rig, to only $150? You can't buy a good one for $150.

I want to buy an
Intel i7 6700K 4.0GHz
NVidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti
16GB RAM
1TB Space

I always wanted a rig like this when I was your age. I am now 19 and I have it, but only because I worked hard at high school, college and then got a scholarship for achieving all A grades at A level. Otherwise I would not be able to buy it.

Have you thought of doing some part time work, or maybe looking on something like Gumtree to see if anyone is flogging anything cheaply due to them updating their equipment?

pls help me like donate or what to do to my garbage computer!
haalp

If I tried that, I would have a 4000 litre tropical fish aquarium in my bedroom filling one side of the room that I could scuba in to clean, a miniature traction engine and a boiler test certificate to drive it on the road, and a massive rack of servers just for the hell of it.

You will appreciate it more if you work for it. Or mine bitcoins.

Ok, so build a new system for yourself. It's not that hard.

It is when you don't know what you are doing. Especially with expensive equipment. That is why I got @spirit to help build mine, as although I know how to do it, I was terrified of breaking something.

And by the sounds of it, if his father wont let him buy a system, he might not like the idea of handling sensitive parts that are worth three digits, especially if you can damage them easily.

I was going to make a smart comment about playing outside or something, as the graphics outside are a much better resolution than you will get on a PC, unless you are short sighted; but I spent most of my teenage years faffing with computers, so yeah... that would make me a hypocrite.

You never know, you might be able to persuade your family to help you out if you go out of your way to be kind, respectful, helpful and stuff, as then it will be a good argument to back up that you deserve one, so they might help out. I am not saying that in a patronising way, but just from experience in life, and how I was brought up. Rewards only come to those who deserve it and all that philosophical bumph.

I built my first PC when I was 13. I financed it by doing part-time work and saving hard for a year or so. You can do it if you save hard, try to work and don't dream about buying a ridiculously expensive setup. By the time you could ever afford a 6700K and a 980 Ti they'll be long, long outdated I'm afraid. Set yourself a much lower budget and have more realistic expectations and save to that instead of dreaming of some crazy $2K machine you'll never be able to afford.

what good cpus and gpus are good for low budget
You need to decide on a clear-cut budget before you can decide what to get. You also need to think about how long it will take for you to save. Components change all the time, so decide on the budget, save to get the money, THEN when you have the money you can decide what to buy. New GPUs and CPUs are coming out soon so unless you want to buy something right now there's no point us really recommending anything because it will be obsolete by the time you can buy it.

So your 13, your dad wont buy you a computer, you can't spend the supposed money you have, you talk like a 9 year old and you expect a group of adults to assist you in any fashion?

OK I don't think this is going anywhere. We're just going to be going round in circles with this so I'm locking this thread unless an admin decides to unlock it.

We have mentioned a few things you can do to try and improve the performance of your current PC but at some point you are going to need save up and upgrade I'm afraid. Also, in future please don't ask people on this forum for money. I deleted your posts asking for money. Good luck.
