First my desktop breaks
Now my laptop too?

Ok, so I was watching a YouTube video and all was ok

And then all the lights went off, all the fans stopped spinning.

I waited for a few minutes, no restart.

Powered on.
Windows recommended 'start up repair'... And while start up repair was loading, windows froze and I was greeted with the BSoD.

Computer shut down.

Is there anything I can do without knowing any error codes? The display only shows for a split second...

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Could also be memory/RAM. Try downloading Memtest86 and test your RAM for half a day or overnight to see if you get any errors.

I don't have enough time in the OS to do anything before it shuts... I'll try safe mode?

That sucks... Im new to Windows so the only thing i worry about is Kernel Attacks! (My first build will be only the second windows in my lifetime!!)

Bugcheck 124 refers to a hardware issue. Any new hardware lately? Can you list your system specs?

With this type of bluescreen nothing is cut and dried. The 2 things you should do first are testing the memory and the hard drive for errors. If both come back clean then I'm not sure. Has there been any new hardware added to it lately? Do you have any usb devices attached?
