I just recieved my Ibuypower pc yesterday. It would not turn on or anything. The video card was not tightly on. Fixed that then plugged the PSU 20 pin connector in the mobo and then it turned on for a little and shut right back down.
I called them up and they said to send it back to fix.(And the Customer Service/Tech service sucked... and it took forever). So they sent me a pre-paid fedex ground label. Im thinking Ill just return it for a refund because after 30 days I cant do that.
What do you all think?
Now my next problem is where to go from there. I do not know much about building a pc, and wouldnt mind attempting it but dont want to break anything in the process or anything that ouwld cost me more money.
I do do some gaming and major design with photoshop/fireworks/flash/Dreamweaver and enjoy using my pc as a media center (music and dvds). So the I BUY POWER pc I made was pretty much for that. Is there any pc that I can get from Best Buy that can handle all that and perform as what my working IBUYPOWER would...
Heres what my IBUYPOWER had:
Flash Media Reader/Writer ( 12-In-1 Internal Flash Media Card Reader/Writer Black )
Power Supply ( [$30 Mail-In-Rebate NOW !!!] Ultra X-Connect 500W ATX PS w/2 80mm Fans - Titanium Black(ULT31554) )
Processor ( [Socket-775] Intel® Pentium-4 Processor 630 [3.0GHz, 2MB Cache, 800MHz FSB, 64-Bit + HT Ready] )
Processor Cooling ( Certified CPU Fan and Heatsink )
Operation System ( None- Pre-formatted Hard Drive Only )
Video Card ( [PCI-Express 16x] ATI Radeon X800 256MB w/DVI + TV Out Video )
Hard Drive ( 120 GB HARD DRIVES [S-ATA] Seagate 120 GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Hard Drive )
CD/DVD Drive ( 16x DVD-ROM Drive Black )
CD-RW/DVD-RW Drive ( NEC ND-3520A Dual Format/Double Layer 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive Black )
Sound Card ( Creative Lab Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit 7.1 )
** I just kind of realied maybe I BUYPOWER isnt the way to go after reading pretty many negative reps and thinking a local company such as best buy would be better
