he did it on purpose after breaking a world record. i dont think anyone would concider using the parts after these lads get hold of them. plus, they get sponsor's like ati and nivida, corsair, mushkin etc that give them the products for free as long as their name is all over the article.

i think he froze the pc to stick a cool pic and to get a good laugh in at the end.
