have you connected the fan that sits on top of you cpu to the motherboard cpu connector or directly to the psuOk, I'm getting an error when I restart my computer now that I have installed the new heatsink. I get a black screen that says:
CPU fan error!
What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Oh and your fan is upside down
More of a personal preference, but i like my fan to be sucking from cpu, esspetially on a huge hsf like the XP-90It is blowing towards the CPU.
Does the fan spin up when you power on. Also can you get in to biosThe fan is plugged directly into the mothorboard.
