Have you tried the running IE with no add-ons as Broni has suggested? It might be silverlight causing the issue then. There should be a restore point back to where right after you installed windows and got all the drivers installed. Do a system restore back to that point and start adding back stuff until you find the culprit.
Some more info for you...ps i have rienstalled ex8 and turned of compatability...still the same thing happens......& turned off addons ect....
