I have just put windows 7 ultimate on my pc....
every time i go online to open a stream on utube ect it comes up ie stops working......then recovers the tab...is there a way i can stop this happening plz......

What add-ons do you have installed for IE? Any weird toolbars installed? Usually that is what causes the problem.

Adding to John's...

Close IE.
Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same problem?

The add-ons i have are as followed.

Shockwave flash object {ENABLED}
Adobe pdf link helper {ENABLED}
Xml dom document {ENABLED}
Windows media player {ENABLED}
Microsoft Silverlight {ENABLED}...

I have not installed any toolbars at all yet.
I just deleted all of Adobes programmes exept for flash...
I thought it might be down to not installing microsofts updates
so i have downloaded all and installed them....
Same thing happens........weird....

Have you tried the running IE with no add-ons as Broni has suggested? It might be silverlight causing the issue then. There should be a restore point back to where right after you installed windows and got all the drivers installed. Do a system restore back to that point and start adding back stuff until you find the culprit.
