Hi Guys/Gals,
I was looking to update my old PC... I am very budget minded and was wondering if it's even worth it to update my graphics card and processor or just start building a new PC?... here's what i have:
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z87
Processor: i7-4770
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 960
SSD: Western Digital Blue 500G
Samsung 840 Pro 128G
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600 4x4
i've been tossing around the idea of finding compatible parts for my motherboard and just updating the processor to a newer i7 (10700k) and a newer graphics card (NVIDIA GTX 1060 or 1080)... at this point... is it going to just be better to start building off a new board and getting a new processor, GPU and move my SSD drives over? IDK.... i just bought this PC a few years ago from a buddy... and i'd hate to keep going back and forth and throwing ideas at him... so i figured a thread would help throw conversations out there for best options....
