Is my GeForce 9500 GT failing if it starts to make a lot of noise? I blew the dust out with canned air, didn't help. Any advice?

Fans are probably going bad. What are your temperatures under load? You can use HWMonitor to check.

You can try applying some WD-40 to the fan bearings. It might not help much, with older video cards it's much easier to replace the entire fan which is fairly cheap, or even buy a new video card. And again, in general a noisy fan indicates that the fan bearings are wearing out, but the card itself is probably fine.

That's what I thought, the fan. Didn't know you could replace the fan though, figured if the fan failed the whole card was junk. I'll have to look into replacing the fan then. Thanks for your help.
