I just installed speedfan and it says my processor cores are running at 12*C and 18*C. Is it correct? If so, that is pretty darn good.
Did you use the one from the Gigabyte or from your cd, the Gigabyte site has the newer one. I have ran it on Vista 64, uninstall the old one first! Never mind I thought you said EasyTune would not work with Vista

PC Wizard works on Vista to but I think they might not have support for your chipset yet (P35)

Yeah the "CPU" i think is BS cause i get the same too, always go by the Core temps lol. What does bios say?

Yeah use orthos and see, when i run orthos i get about 44*c 100% and 28*c idle.. i didn't know about that cooler when i bought mine![]()
The BIOS also read 23*C....
Heres how I see it:
Temp programs are always wrong.
The Bios I heard is the real way to check the correct temp.
Every single other program tell me my cpu temps 46c and my bios is telling me 71c.
