Is the amd 64 3400, a good cpu for playing battleielf2, check out this newegg speacia

The thing that was really odd was ocing the Atholon XP3200+ upto 2.3ghz and seeing AMD Atholon XP3400 on the bios post screen after. I was wondering if there was or was going to be a Socket 3400+ which turned out to be the Socket 754 model instead. When looking cpus for a possible upgrade at times there was never even mention of a 3400+ even when having to build case before a 2007 scheduled upgrade.

I did run across a thread dated in 2004 where someone was surprised then to hear a 939 model. But they were supposed to be good ocing chips according to one review found on them. Since they were included in prebuilds there wasn't too much on them to find until now. And that would now be for clearing them off.

All Durons, Athlons, XP Athlons and socket A Semprons showed that way in the bios when you overclocked them and they did make a Athlon XP 3400+ but never released it!

Gee? You would love to have been on this 5/16/04 thread seen at http://forums.cgsociety.org/archive/index.php/t-143395.html XP3500+ is better then the XP3400+? :D Talk about coming full circle on searches look at the #1 item on the Yahoo search engine and see if anything looks familiar at http://infospace.abcnews.com/_1_29MRT6B02I4H4NK__info.abcnws.toolbar/search/web/amd+atholon+xp3400 :P

Are you serving that up medium or rare? :P Speaking of rare items just like the 3400+ 939 model that one didn't get too far either. :( Oh well... that just puts the XP3200+ at the top of the food chain in 2003. You don't believe it? AMD did. http://www.amd.com/us-en/Corporate/VirtualPressRoom/0,,51_104_543~70819,00.html :D

Someone one even found out hpw far the 3200+ oced. Something like 2.5ghz. http://www.digital-daily.com/cpu/amd-barton400/

Did someone duk(e)gamers? http://www.dukgamers.com/reviews/xp3200/xp3200.shtml

Where's Sir Kenin at? He needs to e-punk PC eye again.

PC eye, I hope you never had children. Why do you always have to bring up all your old school socket A BS? Does *anybody* on this forum care the *slightest* bit about what you did on the Socket A platform? It's dead. has been, will be. s754 is following it, who cares about 754 today? The only reason to buy 754 is to get good deals on closeout processors and boards for setting up small secondary (or tertiary) computer systems for yourself (ie folding only).

You have been conclusively disproved, yet you continue. You should have been born a few hundred years ago and been in the navy - nobody could have taken you down as the captain of a ship, even after sinking you'd still fight on!

Instead of simply rambling your mouth away do you have anything to actually contribute to this thread? I thought so. discussion ended.
