Is there a website where I can download drivers for ubuntu and other distros that have worked

    Hello, is there a place where I can download drivers for ubuntu and other distros that have worked in the past?

    It seems you're trying to do things like you would on Windows. You don't have to use .deb files to install things like you would with a .exe on Windows. You can simply open a terminal and type in your distro's commands and package you're wanting to install. Because each distro has a repository to download from. In your case if Ubuntu/Lubuntu it would be "sudo apt-get install packagename". Also when using a Ubuntu flavor you can use the app/software center to download things directly.

    If you know all this, then what exact drivers are you trying to obtain that are not in your package managers repository?
