As AdmnPower said, the only real advantage of upgrading from 802.11g to 802.11n would be if you are currently in a location where you get very little wireless coverage, since 802.11n does have a longer range. If you are getting 3-5 bars now then honestly there will be little to no difference if all you are using it for is the internet, now if you share files then I would say upgrading to 802.11n is worth it. Just remember every wireless device on the wireless network needs to be 802.11n compliant, otherwise everyone will be downgraded to the slower 802.11g specs.
