when this happens then what's wrong ?Buffer's fine as well, you should only be worried if the buffer runs out completely, then suddenly fills up completely, with buffer-underrun protection having to kick in.
It usually happens when other cpu or memory intensive tasks are running when you're trying to burn. The buffer is information about the burn that has already been read and stored from the hard drive, but not burnt to disk yet. If the buffer isn't filled up by the hard drive at least as quick as it's being used (i.e. burnt), then the buffer will run out. Buffer underrun protection is there to try and save the burn, by allowing the laser to stop and start again at will. Not all burners have this, but most modern ones do.when this happens then what's wrong ?
