okay... i spent about $500 dollars for the new X1950XTX - it was a tremendous upgrade from my 128 bit Nvidia... but i gotta say... i pretty upset with ati. the card works just as it should, i am really impressed. the included software installed fine. no hiccups with anything. my earlier post about the power supply... it isn't a complaint really... i guess their system reqs, were just recommendations. so here's what i'm upset about:
- the lack of instructions... it had catalyst, and drivers for everything. a demo for some outer space screen saver, and office fx - what do i do with them? in all the paper work, nothing explaining what all the included things do or how to use them. there was a book with instructions on how to install the card in like 6 languages. even how to install cards that aren't the card i bought.
- lack of insignia... i paid about $500 dollars - they can't include a freakin case badge? what the hell? nVidia offers t-shirts!! i can't get a teeny tiny sticker?!?
really... i'm happy with the purchase... the card really is great... never seen graphical quality like this, and it's on my machine nonetheless. i'm just voicing my complaint to you.
