Hi, Im a design student in Northern Ireland doing some research into laptop design. Laptops are more attractive as a desktop replacement but the don't have any of the ergonomics of a desktop unit - adjustable screen, angled keyboard etc. I find working on a laptops for long periods is uncomfortable.
I would like to put a few questions to the users of this forum (you guys know your stuff)....
1. In your opinion are laptops being used more as desktop replacements?
2. Do you find working on laptops for long periods of time uncomfortable?
3. What features you think a laptop should have to make working on them more comfortable (as crazy and conceptual as you like, a fantasy laptop)
This is part of my research, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'll post a picture of my finished project on this forum when I'm done. Thanks,
Gab
