Problem is with Alienware Area-51 M9750. Nvidia Geforce 8700m gt (running at 81*c idle)
No battery, and running on Prudent Way universal notebook ac power adapter.
I don't have a model number for it and it isn't on the adapter itself. I'm pretty sure its turning off because the GPU is overheating. I have only seen it happen in starcraft 2. There is no warning and it just goes off. It then wont power back on for several minutes. Is it possible that the power adapter is not functioning correct / over powering the system? Is the GPU crapping out? It says 19v on the bottom of the computer, I have it set to 19v and I really don't know where else to go with this? I didn't provide you with any specs but its pretty basic so let me know if they are relevant and what you want to see.
