Looking for a new mobo

I am thinking about getting the "ASRock Z77 Extreme6" or the "asus p8z77-v pro".

Right now i have the asus p8p67 le . ( dislike that board a lot)

and i7 2600k, 8gb 1600 memory, gtx 570.

What do you guys think about those two boards as an upgrade?

Both are really nice boards. Can I ask why you didn't like the P8P67?
Out of the two you said I would pick the Asus board. Only because I think Asus as a whole is a better brand but really it's up to you.
You might also want to look at some Gigabyte boards, another great brand. Something like this. That's about the same price of the other boards you picked out .

Well its the LE version. It takes away freedom from OCing and i also feel like i can get better temps with my setup. Thanks for the input

personally i would go with this one:

i just dont see a necessity in having 3 PCI-E slots. its nice to have the option to triple SLI. but i would rather take more x1 slots than the 3rd x16 slots. way more option to expand your rig.

Both are good, but I'd say the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H is also a great board and I'd choose that over the ASRock and the ASUS. Here it is on Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544&Tpk=ga-z77x-ud3h

You may have to update the BIOS on Z77 boards before you can use your 2600K in one.
