Refresh rates will also depend on your video card as well as with any model lcd monitor. 75htz is generally quite adequate even when gaming. The faster response time seen on some models makes that a plus. The main difference while 85htz is high for lcds it is often seen needed on the crts. Another thing to consider when rasing refresh rates is the screen resolution.

Ya, that's the native resolution for that model.
 
I would lke to move out of the 17" model some day without anything over 19" however. Between video captures/editing and text once you go up too high you'll be "squinting" to read one word by itself. :confused: :P
