So do you recommend getting the paid version because of this ?The free version is an on demand scanner only. The paid version will actively scan your system at bootup.
Of all the things that I have to worry about, this is the least of my worries, lol . Do you have the paid version ?If you are worried about getting infected then yes.
Yes, I have McAfeedo you have an antivirus on your pc now?i got mbam back when it was $20 for life so i kept it.if you do have an existing av you could always just use the free version of mbam for periodic scanning.
Windows security (previously Microsoft Windows defender) running under windows 10 is perfectly adequate for the average user, and then use the free version of MBAM for the occasional scan which I uninstall afterwards.do you have an antivirus on your pc now?i got mbam back when it was $20 for life so i kept it.if you do have an existing av you could always just use the free version of mbam for periodic scanning.
Guess you answered your own question. If you don't care, why even bother?this is the least of my worries, lol
So what is happening now in my computer ? Is one scanner overriding the other one ? I just have the free trial version for Malwarebytes installed now. It will expire in a couple of days time and I'll just leave the free version and not purchase the paid version to avoid conflict with McAfee. You can't have 2 active scanners installed at the same time.
