Hi there.
I have an annoying problem with a computer monitor. The screen has a slight tinge of green to it. I am sure that the problem is not down to the monitor as I have tried another monitor and still got the same green tinge and if I unplug the VGA cable a warning appears on the screen saying "no cable connection" and this does not have the green tinge!
This is what I have tried to correct the problem:
Installed up to date graphics card drivers. GFX Card: Asus Nvidia 7300GS 256MB PCI-E
Made sure that the appearance settings is not affecting the colour. e.g High contrast profile.
Checked the settings on the monitor itself. e.g Red Blue Green colour, contrast, brightness.
Changed the VGA cable and the adapter (there is a VGA to DVI adapter between the DVI port and VGA cable)
Attempted to remove the VGA to DVI adapter and plug the VGA cable into the VGA input next to the DVI input. This returned a "no cable connection" error.
Removed and reseated the graphics card.
I have searched google and cannot find anything to help, do I need a new graphics card?
