I was looking at your cheaper build specs on the website and it seems on your cheaper builds that you overdue the cpu and put in a crappy gpu. My sig700

THEY'RE NOT PIRATED!! My mom can get me them for 20$ each.

Now Ac3, if you can balance the cpu and the gpu for me, I'd be grateful.

If you're not gonna say anything useful or nice, you might as well say nothing at all...

I can state my opinion, same as anyone else here.

What I said was useful. You should learn what you're
doing for yourself before trying to do it for others.

I took your $875 build and make an exact same build on newegg. The price total came out to $460+SH.
I don't know if your charging people $300 for you to build it or something but it looks like a rip off. Anyone could just pay the neighborhood geek 20 and he'd gladly build your computer for you.

Trust me. People will easily buy it for $875. You have to realize that most people are computer retarded. Yes, a geek will build it for 20 bucks but, someone has to go out and get that parts and stuff. I've built 3 computers for "free" but, the people are always nice enough to throw in 100 bucks for my time. Most importantly you need to know how to talk to people. And... the point that people don't need a case with cold cathodes or fans that light up. What sells them is the amount of time it boots up (people just hate when it takes over a minute) and how fast they can access there facebook and youtube.

You are kinda over charging to me. I work at a computer shop and the way we do it is the customer pays what we pay for parts then we add another $100 and if they won't cable management then we add another extra $25 and any special request we will add that in. Usually for a PC the customer will pay between $100-$250+ parts and we can have it built and running in less then 5 days + we will install any requested software like Microsoft office, Norton, some games, etc on it for $5. We only charge $80-$130 for vista $25-50 for XP $5 for Linux and any thing below that is free of charge. We also back our builds up with a 2 year warranty for free.

Y'know what? If you're not gonna help the builds, I'll just sell them the way they are. I already have two paying customers.

I trying to help you realize how much your are ripping people off. Just because you have customer doesn't mean nothing I bet if you really told them how much they are paying for the computer and how much is going in your pocket they would have a change of mind I bet they don't realize if they are buying a $900 computer almost half of it is going to you. I won't say nothing else because I can see that you are one of those people that can't take criticism I'm not trying to make you made I'm just trying to help you make your business better.

I'll lower my prices once I get out of this stupid situation I'm in. Seriously, my parents are divorced, they hate each other, my uncle is leaving, and my dad had to cash in my savings bonds because he went bankrupt. I just want to get out of the hole, and get back to life the livable way.

By that time your customers will be down the road with a new company. You cant charge people extra money cause your in a hole. 90% of the country is in a hole but that dont mean charge more now and charge less when im ahead. You should know better than most computer illiterate people that it dont cost much to build or much time to build. Id say 100$ labor fee is plenty to charge for a custom build.

Now what if the customer wanted the receipts to all the components in the computer. Are you willing to show them that it only cost this and your charging that. Just helping you out as you sound young still and wont get ahead over charging.

Hey buddy, I'm leaving the forum for a month, so we can both calm a bit down...
And I was talking about the divorce situation, not the company thing.
