Motherboard GFX card support

Hello,

Is it possible that a motherboard will not be able to support a video? I have an EPoX AP550 PRO which I got last august and I want to use a Nvidia 9800 card, will it be able to support it? They are both PCI-E
 
Here is some stuff it says at the back

DDR2 - will it be able to run DDR2 Dual Channel RAM?

SATA 2 - Is that the newest SATA out?

S-ATA II RAID - What is that?

PCI - Express - Will it be able to run A PCI-E 2.0 card?

PCI-E VGA - What is that?
 
Okay, so I couldn't figure out how to take my video card out (im such a noob, i know) because someone else put it in for me so I took a couple pics. Would I have to do something with that white thing there?

Yep as long as you have a pci-express 16 slot on that motherboard you run a 9800.
To remove that card unscrew it and pull up you may have to play with the white clip on the back of the slot.
 
Press that white piece back. Do NOT force it. It should bend back and pop the card out a bit without any trouble, then continue removing the card.

I can't find any information online about your motherboard via Google, but if you have a PCI-E 2.0/x16 slot, it should work.

Download PC Wizard 2008 and look at the memory speeds.

That is the info I got from my RAM
On my mobo box it says PCI-E VGA and in the description it says x16, is that what you were talking about? Also, I will try the video card thing tomorrow, thank you. Oh, and there isn't much info on my mobo, I got some parts from this guy who gets all his stuff from china, like an EPoX mobo, JetWay Video card, TP-Link router, stuff like that. The only brands I know of in my PC are seagate (HDD), LG (CD/DVD W/RW drive), Kingston (RAM)

I'm taking it that DDR2-666 = DDR2-667...
 
I'm not sure, I copied and pasted it. So is that PC 5300? Also, how do I know if my psu can support the 9800? I'm picking it up on saturday :). I opened up my case and it didnt say on the sticker, also the new video card has 2 DVI connectors, right now I have one DVI and one VGA, it comes with one converter but will it fit in the spot where my old video card is right now?
 
I can't find much information about your motherboard but if its a VIA chipset then you will NOT be able to use any PCI-E 2.0 cards. They just wont work. I have had this happen personally with 4 VIA based AMD and Intel Boards.
