On my mobo box it says PCI-E VGA and in the description it says x16, is that what you were talking about? Also, I will try the video card thing tomorrow, thank you. Oh, and there isn't much info on my mobo, I got some parts from this guy who gets all his stuff from china, like an EPoX mobo, JetWay Video card, TP-Link router, stuff like that. The only brands I know of in my PC are seagate (HDD), LG (CD/DVD W/RW drive), Kingston (RAM)
