What is the point or purpose of booting more than one OS system? I see some people have in their sig triple boot winXP or they have vinxp+linux? I'm confused? I thought you could only run one OS at a time?!?
they might have a fully updated sp2 instance of winxp for gaming, an instance of linux for general use, and a non updated bare-bones installation of xp for p2p
LMAO!! I like that.mac for operating, linux for programming, windows for solitarie
i just run good old xp pro now
i had media center 2004 for years, then i tried vista, now i'm back to basic xp pro.
by far the best of any of them.
isn't as pretty as vista, and lacks the media center, but it's the fastest, and the best for setting up a network with file sharing. vista's file sharing is crap, it's too complicated, requires all computers involved to have a password (i hate passwords) and all this on top of vista's SLOW disk management. Every time you open a folder, it gathers info on EVERY file, and EVERY folder in the folder, before it'll even launch a file.
XP Pro is simple, fast, and stable.
LMAO!! I like that.
So all 3 would be running at the same time or would you just choose which one you run at the boot menu?
