Hey guise so I recently became interested in a building my own computer for all around purposes (gaming, work, etc). I was wondering if my matchup would work:
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Processor
Mobo: ASUS Intel Z77 ATX DDR3 2400 LGA 1155 Motherboard P8Z77-V
Psu: Corsair HX Professional Series 750-Watt 80 Plus Certified Power Supply Compatible with Core i7 and Core i5 - CMPSU-750HX
Hard drive: Western digital Scorpio Black 500 GB SATA 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM 2.5" Mobile Hard Drive (WD5000BPKT)
Os: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit (Full) System Builder DVD 1 Pack
Disk drive: Lite-On LightScribe 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive IHAS424-98 - Retail (Black)
Video card: EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti FPB 1024 MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/Mini-HDMI SLI Ready Graphics Card, 01G-P3-1556-KR
Ram: Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB (2x4 GB Modules) 1600 MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit (PC3 12800) 240-Pin SDRAM KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower Case with USB 3.0 (RC-922M-KKN3-GP)
If any of you pros out there have better suggestions or tweaks for my setup, im all ears. The total cost for this is about $1200 and i would like to keep my budget as such. Feedback is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
