My Allendale OverClock...

Will the C2D E6300 Conroes procs be able to overclock that high or is it js with the Allendales only?

E6300/E6400 are allendale, E6600/E6700/X6800 are conroe. I doubt all of the allendales will be able to clock like this chip (the mobo's also a limiting factor since the multiplier is so low on allendales).

Well, mine is the B2 Revision of the E6300, so I recommend you get that one if you can... :) I ordered from ZipZoomFly, just so ya know.

Also, just to update y'all on my current OC status, it isn't stable with an FSB of 510 Mhz :P I've got it playing BF2 smoothly @ 3.4 Ghz though :)

I'm prett sure the E6300 and E6400 are codenamed Conroe... At least thats what is says on newegg and zipzoomfly. maybe theres a limited supply of Allendales?

At the beginning, they were all named Conroe. But now, they have codenamed 2MB L2 Cache chips Allendale [the E6300 and E6400] and the 4MB L2 Cache chips Conroe [the E6600, E6700, and X6800].

:)
