I wouldnt get the pre-N wireless card, because once 802.11n becomes finalized, it may not work with all pre-n equipment.

And heres a site with deals on Dell's: http://www.edealinfo.com/dell/#C2

They've had similar ones up for at least 6 months now. I got mine when they had a $750 off coupon code.

You mean the Dell and the Intel Pro? To be honest I would go with the Intel Pro Wireless 802.11 a/b/g.

Im not sure if you did, but make sure you get the 9-cell battery, if not two of them.

What's the price on the HP? Depending on the price I like Dell better.

They offer pretty much the same thing.
Its just that the dell goes that extra mile, for a little more.

If that dell goes over 2k in a few weeks, iam going to the hp.

I'd deffinetly go with the Dell. It has a better processor and a better video card (most important for gaming).

Why would you buy a gig flash drive with the HP? Unless its free, its not worth it since you can buy them for $10 or less.

They have coupons going on all the time for Dell. They have $400 off an Inspiron notebook now, and when that expires later this month, they will release new coupons.

I would go HP over Dell any day. It's the customer support and most important the pre installed software.

I have dealt with both Dell and HP tech support for customers and HP has by far better tech support. If your hardware fails HP is quick on the response.

Also Dell has more intrusive installed software. You might as well format your Dell right when you get it to get rid of it all. HP you just uninstall a couple things and you're golden.
