My Updated Build!

I couldn't overclock with my old board :( OEM

I'm currently running prime95 torture test.. i'm at 3ghz (1092 FSB) and 1.425v and no crash/bsod yet... it's been ~5 mins so we'll see. before i had it 1.35v and it crashed within 60 seconds and temps are now 55*C on each core.

I think i just got it perfect! I have to let my brother and parents on so i might just downclock to 2.8ghz and auto voltage for a while

I've got the RAM unlinked running at stock speeds. I don't think i'll OC it yet.

Here's a new pic for you guys!

I set it to 1.425v.

Looks like it's drooping a little, but it varies.

EDIT: Bumped it up one more to 1.44v to be safe.

Time for a 6 hour prime95 session

Okay once i bumped it to 1.44v it shot up to 1.52v.. i started getting brief lines on the screen so back down to 1.425v

Just remember--you won't kill anything pushing the fsb up, but you can kill stuff with too high voltages.

From my E4500, I maxed out at 3.5, though I usually stayed more in the 3.0-3.2 range for 24/7.

Well everything is running smooth as silk now! That's why i put the voltage back down.
Upgrading is fun but it only took me an hour to get all the hardware in... and the rest of the day to get vista working properly!

Well, i took the FSB down to 1066 and set voltage to auto for the sake of stability...
started getting artifacts. ~70mhz less isn't much of a drop anyway. (1066FSB goes to 2.93ghz)
