It's really easy to replace power supply and video card. You can either remove the memory stick and get the part number and we can look up specs from that or you can download and run cpuz and post the screen shots of the memory and spd tab.

removing the stick wont damage anything will it? and by that i mean hurt any data.
If not ill just get the part number off it and order another one.

It may be hard finding an exact match for generic sticks especially since this is an oem machine. Cpuz can tell us all thay we need to know to find something that would work.

Sorry to bring back an old post but I have more questions. Life happened and had to put my computer project on hold. I got some things done to it but not much. Got a 500 watt power supply and an ssd running my OS. I still haven't messed with my graphics card and its next on the list. People have already suggested to me to use this card: https://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16814127784&recaptcha=pass

I did some digging and found this card:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M64G435/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

Which is better? Or is there a better card out there for around the same price that will fit in my case? I found a Ge force GTX 1060 2 gb for about the same price as the msi 750ti that i posted above. Would i be better to go that route? Its a bit over my budget but if its gonna make a large difference and if it fits in my case ill do it. The price difference between the 2 cards I listed are quite large. i just wanna make sure im getting the best bang for my buck here. Thanks in advance.
