I have answered this survey, because im not so sure what to get etc.
1) What is your budget? Around 1300 - 1400
2) What size notebook would you prefer? 13.3 to 14.1
3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? I had a Packard Bell laptop but it stopped working after one year and i want to have my laptop for 2 - 4 years
4) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? Video editing, some games (mostly world of warcraft) and school stuff
5) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? Going to travel with it a little, but mostly going to have it in my lap on the couch
6) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? World of Warcraft and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
7) How many hours of battery life do you need? 5 hours while working with video editing
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person? Thats the same for me
9) What OS do you prefer? I dont care that much, maybe OS X

a. WXGA or WXGA+ - 1280x768/800 or 1440x900; Wider viewing version of XGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
b. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
c. WUXGA - 1920x1200; Wider viewing version of UXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
12) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen? Not sure whats the difference..
