Hi,

I saw your posting requesting recommendations for a laptop. HP has a line of reasonably priced notebooks that should meet or exceed your requirement. You can click on the HP link on Computer Forum webpage for more information. Please let me know if I can assist.

Well I am going to recommend three brands to you.

The First is a Dell, They are not the bang for you buck type, honestly you can get more powerful hardware for less from other manufactures but I have had the most amazing luck with Dell, I am currently on my fourth Dell and everyone I have bought is still running today, my oldest is 5 years old. This one will hit your needs perfectly.

Asus would be the next pick, everyone on the Forum has rated them so high and this one is nice, I believe the Dell has a better graphics card but the Asus has better cpu.

Finally Samsung, personally if I was not to go with Dell for my laptop preference I would go with Samsung, they are moving quickly up in the laptop world as quality goes. Down side the battery is not that great.

Bro I would be so for you getting the apple computer cause I personally I hate Windows, Would recommend Linux for you but for what you do would require you to use alternative software which most people are not willing to do. Apple computers are of just as good quality as the ones listed above and OSX smokes windows in security and operation but for what you want to do the cheapest macbook pro with a dedicated gpu which is needed for COD 4 is $1700.

Depends on what you're going to be doing on it.

If :

Games, then buy one with tons of RAM and a good video card.

Homework, then a low-power netbook will suit you.

Everything, then buy the ones with the best everything. I mean it.
