I am looking to buy a new video card for my computer. It's a family computer, and I might be purchasing a whole new computer in about 1-2 years, so I don't want to spend a fortune or get the top of the line video card now.
I am going to be gaming on it, so I am guessing that the price range would be around $120-$200, but I would really like to be able to go as low as possible while still being able to play new games. They don't need to be max settings.
My specs right now are:
Summary
Operating System
MS Windows 7 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz 50 °C
Lynnfield 45nm Technology
RAM
4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7H55D-M EVO (LGA1156) 52 °C
Graphics
DELL 1908FP (1280x1024@60Hz)
512MB GeForce 8400 GS (ASUStek Computer Inc) 41 °C
Hard Drives
488GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKS-22A7B2 ATA
Thanks for your help!
