Need help Video card buying,

Someone built a home computer for me with most of the extras, but the fan on the video card is slowing. I can sometimes hear it draging and I need a new card. Someone else made two recommendations but both of them were out of stock.

Any other ideas? I want to only spend 50.00 to 80.00 at most. I do not play a lot of games at all, but want my money worth for sure. Please help me out. I also am limted on computers, but know my way around, so I do not beleive I will have a problem installing the card, but I do want it to be easy.

I believe this is the card I have in the computer now here,

The computer is a PC with 1 GB of ram, 80 gb hard drive, around 4000 processor.

Okay

The one I have in there now fits perfect. So I am not sure on the slot. Though the link you gave me was out of stock as well. I am going to look inside the computer now. I wanted to buy a card right now I COULD any ideas>

ronnie lees.

I have windows XP, my mother board has these numbers, ata133, M848AV5, DDR 400, AGP8x,

So the link you gave me should be fine? Remember I am really not playing games, is there a better card for the money, what do you think. Ronnie Lees.

thanks for your help.

Dont mean to be a pain, but do you have a recommendation for something in the middle.

What I am looking for is basic internet stuff, and games once in a while maybe. Yet I want the option to be able to play a game, but I wont be gaming all the time.

I will be using another card to put videos on my computer from my camcorder and burn them onto a dvd making movies. That is really it. My current card seams to work fine for all of this, but again the fan is dying. So if I am going to spend money it seams I can upgrade for the same or just a little more money.

Thanks again Ronnie lees.

1st link is broken
and the 2 working ones the asus is better then the more expensive one accualy it has more pixel piplines higher core clock

Well, those 2 cards are the same. Different manufacturers but the price and card specs are the same. So, get the one that looks better to you :P
