Hi,
I have all my computers (or should I say had!) connected to each other using Ethernet. All the leads are going to a hub which is then connected to the internet.
The internet connection on all computers work fine. But when I go to setup the Network I get this error.
I search for the computer that I want to connect to and it finds it. I then double click on the computer to try and connect to the Transfers folder I have setup but I then get a Login box appear. The login box already has a Username filled in and its greyed out so I cant change it. The username is Guest. I have tried all the passwords I use in the password box but I can never get connected!
I have turned all the firewalls off etc so there should be no problems there. Its strange as up until about 4 months ago I was never asked for login details to connect to any of my computers. Is this some new feature in XP that may of been downloaded in the updates?
Can anyone help please
Many thanks
Joe
