New Computer Build

Please will you read down the following componants and tell me what you think about them. The computer is intended for gaming and multitasking. I dont have much to spend so I did my best to get the best parts.

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
Motherboard - Gigabyte M57SLi-S4 Socket AM2
Graphics Card - BFG 8800 GTS 320Mb Graphics Card
RAM - Kingston ValueRAM - Memory - 2 GB
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 - hard drive - 250 GB - SATA-300
Power Supply - Akasa Ultra Quiet 500W PSU with 12cm Fan

The case isnt really important at this time because I know lots of people who specialise in computer cases.

Core 2 duo would be a better bet especially if you were to overclock

You will get far better performance with an e4300 and it will be cheaper and easier to overclock. Use any money you have left over to get some better RAM.

I would love to have a system like that. Intel Core 2 Duo is a bit better than AMD Athlon though.

Yeah, it really is more expensive Your link didn't work for me but downgrading to an overclocked version of 8800GTS is fine if you have a 19" monitor or less, here's the link:
